Impermanence

Photos by Cha Timbol

Here are just some random portraits taken by Cha at The Coconut Palace. You must know that the Coconut Palace is the Office of the Vice President of the Philippines, quite a suite pad actually! Basically this day consists of running around Manila and visiting executive and legislative bodies of the government. Hmmm... not a fun way to describe my day huh?

Morning in Skyscraper

As a person whose daily cravings are sunlight and snaps, I can't help but squeeze in a few shots amidst procrastinating my plates for school. Of course, the fun-loving Cha was there to join me in dodging my responsibilities (true friend!). And it was like a mini adventure as I got to check out a 'hidden sanctuary' my condominium apparently has. Do not underestimate these concrete walls.

Too Urban To Care

Mondays may make me want to kill myself sometimes but with these two, I'm suprisingly less suicidal, especially if we oddly compliment each other's outfits as seen above. The squad is vibrant as  ever. I love my girls!

3pm

"Shall we get coffee or shall we get guns and kill ourselves?" -Carrie Bradshaw

This quote perfectly explains our (almost) daily visit at the coffee shop trying to get school work done. And as always, Cha tags along to experience this dilemma with me.

The Monday Hallway

Shirt from Seashop | Pants from Forever 21 | Shoes from Adidas

It was our first day back from Christmas break and in between our rehearsals for a podcast, I couldn't shake off the vacation mode and kick my photo-taking (and Adidas) obsession to the curb.

What I learned today: It's always a good idea to bring your camera.

Slits and Slip

Cropped shirt from H&M | Maxi skirt from Jellybean |Slip-on from Topshop | Clutch from Primadonna

Ringing in the new year with a blogpost! Took a little risk with putting this outfit together, a raglan cropped shirt and a high-slit maxi skirt is the most unlikely pair, not to mention the odd choice of footwear. Oh well, in Rob Sheffield's words in his recent Rolling Stone article on the Top 25 Songs of 2014: "geniuses are weird".

Speaking of the year that was, 2014 was a roller-coaster. I'm thankful for all of the friends, experiences and opportunities I got to have in that year. 2015, bring it on!

Tagaytay Photo Diary

I spent my holidays in Tagaytay where gushing winds can be felt, breathtaking views can be seen and gourmet cuisine can be tasted. Let these photos tell you the story.
